. 此酒Wine Spectator給87分與Best Buy的推薦,Parker則給予89分與”One of the best values I have discovered this year”的好評,美國零售價為美金10元,算是一支低價位的超值酒;我之所以會大力推薦此酒,只有一個原因: 以其美金10元的價格,全世界最具影響力的二大葡萄酒專業雜誌都同時把它評為”物超所值”,那麼在台北一瓶賣NT$255,比美國零售價還要再打八折,豈不是超級物超所值?

此酒也是普羅斯特的泡水酒之一,品質雖然不錯,但原本賣NT$850,相較於國外的售價是有點貴,不過現在因泡水而打三折,反而成了最物超所值的酒之一;我於二週前買了一瓶來喝,覺得與Parker寫的酒評中的許多特點幾乎一模一樣,品質應該沒有受到泡水的影響;雖然我常對朋友說Parker只有在加州、波爾多與隆河具權威性,在其它許多產區往往是胡說八道,但我非常贊同Parker對此酒的評論,尤其是”this is a sexy, lush, gorgeously made wine”此句;這支酒真的給人很性感的感覺,有點狂野,有點風騷,甜美中帶有肉味,酒質豐滿,完全不像一支訂價US$10的便宜酒。Parker說它喝起來像是US$30價位的紅酒,這點我很認同,但是Parker又說它喝起來像Pomerol的頂級酒混合了Vega Sicilia Unico,這就有點太誇張了;不過既然大師這麼說,一瓶又只有NT$255,各位網友實在應該去買一瓶嚐一嚐,看看這瓶NT$255的酒與動輒NT4000以上的頂級Pomerol或Vega Sicilia Unico到底有何不同。

此酒以我個人的淺見,覺得它雖確實物超所值,但風味非常特別,應該不是每個人都會喜歡;波爾多迷可能會覺得它太煽情,隆河迷卻可能會很喜歡;因此我建議網友們,可以先去買一瓶當場開來喝,如果合胃口,那你真是賺到了,趕緊多買一些留著慢慢喝吧! 如果不合胃口,也沒關係,花個NT255去了解一下這支西班牙酒的特有風味,也不算太虧本。

Abadia Retuerta這個酒廠創立才幾年而已,非常年輕,第一個上市的年份是1995年;而它的顧問,就是頂頂大名的Chateau Ausone的釀酒師,難怪短短幾年內就博得好評。以下是Wine Spectator與Parker的酒評:

This deeply colored red has intensity and backbone, with gamy, lead pencil and dark plum flavors overlaid with toasty oak and firm tannins. A bit aggressive now, it should soften and bloomwith time. A good value from Pascal Delbeck. Ablend: 60 percent Tempranillo, 40 percent Cabernet. Drink now through 2002. (21000 cases produced)

Made from 60% Tempranillo and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon that is aged for 3 months in new French and American oak casks, it tastes like a $30 bottle of red wine. A knock-out nose of smoke, charcoal, and cassis is intense and pure. The wine hits the palate with a blast of dense, creamy-textured, rich, black currant, and cherry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, with an opulent texture, and plenty of sweet, spicy pain grille notes, this is a sexy, lush, gorgeously made wine. Already drinking splendidly well, it possesses the necessary stuffing to last for 5-7 years. Think of it as a blend of a first-class Pomerol and Vega Sicilia Unico. Don't miss this one!
One of the best values I have discovered this year, Abadia Retuerta's debut vintage (7,000 cases) of 1996 Rivola is produced from a huge estate situated just outside the appellation of Ribera del Duero. In fact, the property is only 15 kilometers (just under 10 miles) from Vega Sicilia. Interestingly, the famous French oenologist, Pascal Delbeck, was a consultant for the construction of the multi-million dollar showcase winery.
